The local chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society along with the Deep River Curling and Squash Club will hold their annual Curl For Cancer bonspiel at the Deep River Curling Club on Saturday February 10 2007. This all-day fun event is a fund raiser for the Cancer Society and is open to curlers and non-curlers alike.
Each team of 4 to 6 players will pay a registration fee of $60.00 and each participant on the team is encouraged to find as many sponsors as possible. Individuals who are interested in participating but who cannot form a team may register their names and will be assigned to a team. Registration for all teams and individuals will close on February 4th.
All registration fees and pledges will be donated to the Cancer Society. Lunch and refreshments will be available at the curling club for a small fee.
