About Skins Curling: Skins is played for "ends", not points. So in a 6-end game there are 6 "skins" available. Each skin is worth a dollar amount, and the skins later in the game are generally worth more. The game is played just like a regular curling game, except you don't keep track of points, just skins. To win a skin, the team with the hammer has to score 2 (or more) points, and the team without the hammer has to steal 1 (or more) points. If the team with the hammer only scores 1 point or the end is blanked, the skin is "carried over" and the next end is worth two skins. The carry-overs continue until somebody wins, and there can be several carry-overs. If the last end is carried-over, the tie is broken with a draw to the button. Skins curling generally requires some skill and knowledge of the game as strategy is extremely important
