Deep River Fun-Handicap Squash Tournament

The main aim of the Deep River Fun-Handicap Squash Tournament
was to construct a tournament that Bob Donders would not win. History
reports that he won them all anyway. The most recent Fun-Handicap
was reported to have been in around 1997-98.
- Level A player vs Level A player: One handicap each
- Level B player vs Level B player: One handicap each
- Level A player vs Level B player: Two handicaps for the Level A player, one handicap for the Level B player
- Weaker player always has the option of swapping handicaps, even between games.
Method: Pick cards representing a handicap out of a hat. Special card option of
choosing your opponents handicap.
Handicaps that can be remembered
- hockey helmet and gloves
- eye patch
- flippers
- bounce a racquetball between each shot
- bungee cord connecting wrists (running between legs)
- racket with duct tape covering the strings
- no drops shots allowed (ball had to bounce behind the service line)
- only drop shots (ball had to bounce ahead of the service line)
- must touch a wall between each shot
- must spin 360 degrees between each shot
- etc
