2004 Deep River Open Bonspiel

The 2004 Bonspiel was once a again a big success with a full field of 32 teams. The finals of each event saw a good mix of Out-of-town and Local rinks. The A final was an all Northern Ontario contest with the Gribbon rink from North Bay edging defending champion Artie Trudel of Mattawa. The B final was an all Deep River affair with Bernie Deabreu defeating Malcolm James in the final. The C event was also won by a Deep River team with Leo Buckley's team winning in 6 ends over Ian Scott of Renfrew. In the D final the John Galligan rink, skipped by last years Ontario Brier team member John Steski, defeated Des Everick of Petawawa.
