The 2004 Deep River Senior Curlers (NO SWEEP) Christmas Bonspiel will be held Friday December 17th, 2004 with the first draw beginning at 8:00AM sharp. A "hot" cup of coffee and an assortment of Christmas baking awaits your pleasure. This wonderful procedure will be repeated in the late draw beginning at 10:00AM sharp.
The cost is $10.00 per person. Since it is the season for giving, every participtant will take home a prize.
A delicious Christmas lunch catered by the Laurentian View Dairy will be served for the early draw at approximately 11:00AM and for the late draw at approximately 12:30 PM.
People are allocated to teams by the bonspiel organizer to maximize the chance of good equal games, and the minimum of one team massacring another.
We look forward to having a full draw for both early and late events. Traditionally we have invited new and past curlers who are no longer regular members to participate and renew old acquaintances. For those who believe they are not in good enough shape to play curling, a Seniors' Curling Delivery Clinic is being planned the Sunday before the Bonspiel to prove otherwise.
