Upper Ottawa Valley Super League - 2006 to 2007

The UOVSL was 9 teams from Pembroke, Deep River, and Eganville last year. Teams from Cobden, Killaloe and Renfrew Curling Clubs are also welcome to enter. We are hoping to expand to at least 10 teams this year. Games are played on Tuesday evenings and some Wednesdays, as ice is available from participating clubs. The league will start in November and the regular season will end at mid- February with playoff for the top 4 teams taking place in late February. Please note that all players and spares must be a member of one of the above named curling clubs.

Teams will play 9 to 12 games over the season, depending on the number of teams in the league, and the playoffs for the top 4 teams will be based on WIL record during the regular season. Each game is worth $25 and playoff money is also awarded depending on number of entries. A league meeting (all are welcome) will be held on Wednesday November 8th, 2006, 7:30 PM at the Deep River Club and play will start on November 21, 2006.

The entry fee for teams is $240 for the season - normally ice time is offered free by participating clubs.
