CLUB POLICY ON FLIGHT APPROVALS FOR ONE OR MORE DAY BOOKINGS

1. The general operation of the Club takes precedence over the granting of flight approvals for trips of one or more days.

2. A. one or more day booking has to be approved by a majority of the Executive on the following basis regardless of pilot ratings or previous experience of the requesting member:

• a) That the member will act responsibly and knowledgeably in the care and maintenance of Club equipment during the trip as indicated by his current operation in the Club.

• b) That any maintenance scheduling will take precedence over any flight approvals and govern all personal deadlines of the trip.

• c) That all current directives on hourly minimums, maintenance charges and itinerary information, as stipulated by the Board of Directors, are duly noted and will be followed.

• d) That sufficient advance notice has been given to the Executive to consider the itinerary information and to fit the trip in with the Club operation.

• e) That the member has had a significant amount of less than a day cross-country flights (while with the Club), to verify good weather and flight planning management.
