Dear Lachlan,
        The Daresbury gnomes of destiny are currently in a hush hush
operation against the smokers of Daresbury. At first a leaked memo
suggested that they'd be taking action by rounding up smokers' butts to
lob at unsuspecting cigarrette fiends. However, it turns out that the memo
was miss-read  (due to it being made semi-legible after an incident with a
puddle outside B block) and its the smoker's butts that the gnomes have
been hiding up all these months. In preparedness for some cunning
synchronised action no doubt.
