Unreal Tournament - (the last twilight London game) - Thursday 9th January 2003

  • According to the lack of info on the score card(?) - no special occurences despite it being the last night.

Unreal Tournament (the end is nigh for London Quake with the soon to be departed NEO) - Saturday night - 4th January 2003

  • No mayhem levels as Neo wanted vengence in Capture the Flag against Branmacmuffin.

  • On Capture the Flag (CTF), Neo only managed 1 Flag-Carrier vs Flag-Carrier against Branmacmuffin's three.

  • On Capture the Flag (CTF): Branmacmuffin soundly gibbed Neo on the Two (solid) Towers and the Egyptian Level. Though Neo stunned all with a massively fast 4 minute CTF win on the Two (non-solid) Towers.

Unreal Tournament (approaching the end of London Quake in our time due to soon to be departed NEO) - Friday night - 3rd January 2003

  • On mayhem levels, Branmacmuffin obtained two Godlikes

  • On Capture the Flag (CTF), Neo managed an equal 1 Flag-Carrier vs Flag-Carrier against Branmacmuffin

  • Overall on Capture the Flag (CTF), Neo was soundly gibbed by Branmacmuffin

Unreal Tournament - Tuesday night - 31st December 2002

  • During Capture the Flag, Branmacmuffin had 2 superb sniper rifle based Flag-Carrier vs Flag-Carrier victories against a poorly armed Neo. Though Neo managed a final Flag-Carrier vs Flag-Carrier victory.

  • On a mayhem level, Branmacmuffin managed to get 46 kills when only 45 were needed to win.

  • Neo showed consistently superior skills in insta-gib "mano-o-mano" against Branmacmuffin. Though it was decided that this could be due to Neo cheating by the excessive use of the Redeption Rune. It was thus decided that perhaps the Redeption Rune should be turfed in the next Unreal session due to one side making unsporting and excessive use of it.

  • Branmacmuffin had a superb and crushing final CTF victory against Neo in the Ancient Egyptian level. Not only in "counting camping" against Neo's favourite sniper spot (in Neo's sniper ammunition repository), but jumping to claim the final flag off a dead bot for victory against Neo. Neo was so discouraged on a level he normally does so well on, that he had to call it a night and boot Branmacmuffin out of the building. Until next time.

  • Add London Unreal Tournament facilities of Bran and Neo - 31st December 2002

  • Add Aftermath of New Years Eve Unreal Tournament session - 1st January 2002

Unreal Tournament - from a lost then rediscovered October Score Table

  • In general mayhem level: Neo won with 45 kills to 10 deaths but Branmacmuffin got 35 kills to 0 deaths and a Godlike

  • In Capture the Flag (CTF), is was recorded that Bran had 4 Flags and 687 kills, whereas Neo only had 2 flags and 349 kills.

  • It was noted that on one occassion, Bran got beaten by the Bots!!!

  • Another random scribbling that has been recovered: Neo did not get a Capture the Flag but did get a Godlike.

Unreal Tournament - between 23rd October 2002 and 12th November 2002

  • Again, much has been happening, including more guest appearances by El-Disco under various pseudonyms and finally his own fearfully original name.

  • During Capture the Flag on the first two-towers level, Neo's dealing nukes to the back of Branmacmuffin's head have still been many and varied. As well as managing to miss from close range on the top level of the tower.

  • During 12th November 2002 Capture the Flag on the two-towers levels where only the bots may touch the flag: Neo and El-Disco beat Branmacmuffin on the first two-towers level. However, Branmacmuffin defeated them both on the next two-towers level, not only due to superior sniping tactics, but that Neo and El-Disco's bots (though skilled), did not feel like going up that elevator. A damning condemation of Neo and El-Disco's management and motivational skills. El-Disco was also quite miffed at Branmacmuffin's ability to snipe him down at inconvenient moments. The medium and top sniping levels were indeed dangerous places.

  • On another accassion, Branmacmuffin did get a Godlike with 45:1.

Unreal Tournament - between 7th October 2002 and 23rd October 2002

  • Much has been happening, including guest appearances by El-Disco under various pseudonyms.

  • New laws have been arranged for CTF (Capture the Flag) on the Two Towers levels such that humans must not grab the flag - only bots. Sniping and counter sniping - as well as Neo's nukes to the back of the head have been many and varied.

  • On one accassion, Neo was completely whipped by Branmacmuffin

  • On another accassion, Branmacmuffin had 2 to Neo's 0 (zero) on Flag Carrier vs Flag Carrier. To great rejoicing, Branmacmuffin also obtained a 45 to 0 Godlike and a Godlike on the Proximity Core level.

  • Neo and El-Disco were able to accasionally defeat Branmacmuffin on the Two Towers CTF levels, but only after great amounts of sniping.

Unreal Tournament - Thursday night - 3rd October 2002

  • During an intense level of Capture the Flag between Neo and Branmacmuffin - it finally had to be called off for the night due to the lateness of it all. Though it should be noted that Branmacmuffin started to effectively cover his bots with counter sniping (including Neo on the hitlist). This was done to such effect that Branmacmuffin obtained a score of 334 kills, and the bots took 3 flags (and only the 4th to be had for a win).

Unreal Tournament - Monday night - 1st October 2002

  • While Neo had some worthy sniping capabilities during Capture the Flag : during Flag Carrier vs Flag Carrier it was Branmacmuffin who dominated with 5 kills to Neo's 1.

  • During Mano - O - Mano : seminal achievement - a draw of 25:25 between Neo and Branmacmuffin. Though on the final playoff, Branmacmuffin won with the 26th kill.

Unreal Tournament - Late August to early September 2002

  • Neo and Branmacmuffin have been experimenting with Capture the Flag. Much Godlikes and CTF's have been achieved. Chronic long-range sniping has occured.

Unreal Tournament - Thursday night, 11th July 2002

  • Branmacmuffin got Godlike twice - 50 kills to 2 deaths and 50 kills to 3 deaths

  • Neo got a Godlike with 50 kills to 11 deaths final score.

Unreal Tournament - Wednesday night, 10th July 2002

  • Branmacmuffin got Godlike twice - but things were going so fast the scores were not being notice.

  • Neo did not.

Unreal Tournament - Monday night, 8th July 2002

  • Branmacmuffin got Godlike - 50 kills to 2 deaths on the final kill

  • Neo managed a Godlike with 35 kills to 0 deaths. Neo was greatly thrilled.

Unreal Tournament - Thursday night, 16th May 2002

  • Trinity was not successful in frustrating Branmacmuffin's attempts to get Godlike. Branmacmuffin got three Godlikes - 50 kills to 2 deaths, 50 kills to 2 deaths again and a Godlike on the 50th kill (to 4 deaths). Bran also achieved a monster Kill.

Unreal Tournament - Tuesday night, 14th May 2002

  • TRINITY successfully frustrated MATRIX's attempts to get Godlike by killing him at significant and regular occassions.

Unreal Tournament - Thursday night, 10th May 2002

  • BRAN - one Godlike with 32 kills and 0 deaths but MATRIX won with 50 kills and 7 deaths

Unreal Tournament - Monday night, 6th May 2002

  • BRAN - 3 x Godlikes with 50 kills and 9 deaths; 50 kills and 8 deaths and 50 kills and 10 deaths

  • MATRIX - one Godlike with 50 kills and 10 deaths.

Unreal Tournament - Thursday night, 2nd May 2002

  • BRAN - Godlike with 50 kills and 3 deaths

  • TRINITY and BRAN - one Monster Kill each.

  • TRINITY - finally got a Godlike with 29 kills and 1 death but Bran won with 50 kills and 10 deaths

Unreal Tournament - Monday night, 29th April 2002

  • BRAN - 2 Godlikes to start with - 50 kills and 2 deaths; and 50 kills and 3 deaths (killing Matrix last)

  • BRAN - Godlike with 45 kills and 9 deaths but Matrix won with 50 kills and 17 deaths.

  • BRAN - Godlike with 46 kills and 5 deaths but Matrix won again with 50 kills and 8 deaths.

Unreal Tournament - Monday night, 9th April 2002

  • BRAN - Godlike with 50 kills and 0 deaths (that is zero deaths :- helped by a sniper rifle with explosive bullets - plus a good camping position)

Unreal Tournament - Monday night, 21st January 2002

  • BRAN - Godlike with 50 kills and 3 deaths (NEO was multi-gibbable)

  • MATRIX got Godlike (score not taken). Plus got 5 x m m m m Monster Kills.

  • In Mano-o-mano - MATRIX was more accurate on the draw than BRAN winning 25 to 24.

Unreal Tournament - Monday night, 15th January 2002

  • NEO - SEMINAL ACHIEVEMENT - Godlike with 50 kills and 0 (zero) deaths.

  • BRAN - Godlike twice with 50 kills and 5 deaths; 50 and 3 deaths.

  • At one point, both NEO and BRAN were both simultaneiously deemed "unstoppable". Various Monster Kills and Dominatings littered the scenes of death and destruction.

  • LOQUE - (the Botspawn from hell) - was destroyed in the Bot setup and will never bother the living again!

Unreal Tournament - Thursday night, 3rd January 2002

  • BRAN - did it camper style and got "GODLIKE" with 50 kills to 2 deaths.

  • MATRIX became "GODLIKE" with 43 kills to 5 deaths - as well as a few "monster kills" and "dominating".

  • LOQUE - (the Botspawn from hell) again was declared to be "GODLIKE".

Unreal Tournament - Monday night, 11th December 2001

  • Despite various computer problems in setup, it was decided that tonight was the night that NEO became a man - beating Player3 (The Man in the Digital Mask); plus once beating Loque (the Botspawn from hell)
    • NEO was also declared at various times to be "unstoppable", "Monster Kill" and "Ultra Kill"

  • BRAN - besides suffering from various bouts of nausia and "scribeism" that seriously damaged his score - did manage to get a declaration of "unstoppable"

  • PLAYER3 - the authentically original title of "The Man in the Digital Mask" did get a "Monster Kill" and also did various damage to people. Though even he was awestruck by . . . .

  • LOQUE - (the Botspawn from hell) was "dominating" on several occassions. Including scores like 50 kills to 3 deaths and more of that ilk. Player3 was of the opinion there was fundamentally something wrong with Loque (disturbed perhaps?).

Monday 11th December 2001

Note for future reference: Attempt to get some exercise by playing squash - was quashed by the fact that the cronically overbooked ULU squash courts have been turned into a storage room!

Saturday 8th December 2001

Note for future reference: An attempt to play first Badmitton game in central London failed as badmitton court was double booked with a conference and full of chairs and tables (University facilities). Double booking of this type - due to different ways things can be booked - paper entry vs computer entry - is supposedly a relatively routine occurance.

Unreal Tournament - Wednesday night, 5th December 2001

  • NEO - was declared to be "Dominating" (twice) First time with 50 kills to 15 deaths

  • BRAN - did manage to get a "Monster Kill" while at 38 kills to 9 deaths

You know who you are!

Unreal Tournament - Monday night, 27th November 2001

  • NEO - was declared to be "Godlike" with 50 kills to 4 deaths

  • BRAN - at one point was found to be "Unstoppable" with 50 kills to 13 deaths
